Demonstrations and Tastings

tastingsIt is our goal to help grow your retail sales of CRUST products. One of the ways we do this is through CRUST-staffed product demonstration/tastings. Our most common demonstrations include bread and pies.

Below we have highlighted the minimum order required to sampled product ratio for your review. For all other product demonstrations (i.e., pastry, cake, cookie, etc.), special arrangements will be made at the time of scheduling.

Four Hour Product Demonstration/Tasting

Pies
A minimum of fifteen (15) pies must be ordered by the wholesale customer for the day of the demonstration/tasting.  CRUST will staff the demonstration and provide a minimum of five (5) pies to sample. Pies have a five-day shelf life and are easily sliced for retail sales; so you may opt to sell whole or sliced pies for four (4) days after the demonstration/tasting.

Bread
A minimum of thirty (30) loaves of bread must be ordered by the wholesale customer for the day of the demonstration/tasting. CRUST will staff the demonstration and provide a minimum of six (6) loaves of bread to sample.  Bread is meant to be sold fresh the day it is purchased. Therefore we encourage you to schedule your demonstration/tastings on the days that are typically your busiest retail sales days.

Three Hour Product Demonstration/Tasting

Pies
A minimum of seven (7) pies must be ordered by the wholesale customer for the day of the demonstration/tasting. CRUST will staff the demonstration and provide a minimum of three (3) pies to sample. Pies have a five- day shelf life and are easily sliced for retail sales; so that you may opt to sell whole or sliced pies for four (4) days after the demonstration/tasting.

Bread
A minimum of twenty (20) loaves of bread must be ordered by the wholesale customer for the day of the demonstration/tasting.  CRUST will staff the demonstration and provide a minimum of four (4) loaves of bread to sample. Bread is meant to be sold fresh the day it is purchased. Therefore we encourage you to schedule your demonstration/tastings on the days that are typically your busiest retail sales days.
